and historically he has been horrible against lefties. I am just trying to get in the giants management's heads.
I think the reasons I laid out are exactly reasons why they have not brought him up yet. If Bowker was right handed and could mash lefties he would already be up because figuring out how and where to play him would be easy.
Personally... I see all these outfielders as commodoties (Bowker, Lewis, Schierholtz, and Winn, but I doubt he is worth much, or likely to be traded)... I would gladly trade any of them for a better bat.
