And he's taken 206 AB as a LHB with only 2 HR vs lefties. Last year Bowker was batting .152 vs lefties. So I have doubts that argument is valid.

Bowker is being blocked by Ishikawa @ first and Lewis and Winn for the outfield. Lewis hasn't made a case for himself but has no options that can send him down. Winn is a serviceable OF but is an impending free agent.
