the bullpen the least of their concerns?

It looks like they've got a solid crew out there for next year...

Romo
Runzler (in place of Valdez)
Joaquin (in place of Howry)
Martinez (in place of Miller, or re-sign Miller)
... and just get Medders back for another year.

I mean, MAYBE they go and get a long-relief arm, but I'm pretty confident that the bullpen will be a strength again without really any serious activity this off-season.

The only pitching staff question mark is the 5th starter role... unless, of course, Cain or Sanchez is traded. Since Sabean has said that MadBum won't be with the big club next season, and that Penny would be too expensive, this is the only open window in that department.

It's unfortunate the offense is in such a state of flux, but we're lucky that we've got some pieces that fit in different places (Velez, Pablo, and Uribe if they re-sign him)
