Posey more ready than SF thinks

"Plenty of people, myself included, believe Posey can catch 100 games in the majors in 2010. The problem is that none of them seem to work for the Giants, who are determined to sign one of the bad offensive catchers on the free agent market. If the Giants seriously believe that Posey can't out-produce a Rod Barajas and his .258 OBP from 2009, they are seriously underestimating the player they liked enough to pay $6 million in June of 2008. Posey doesn't have to be a star right away to be ready to out-produce the inferior and more expensive players the Giants are considering as stopgap solutions."
