the problem with rowand, as i said all year, is he stopped trying to go with the pitch, and use the whole ball park. he played in philly, where anyone can hit 20 homers, and brought that mindset with him to sf. if he would just realize that he's a 10 or so hr guy, and stopped trying to jerk every pitch he sees 500' to left field, he could still be productive. i'm not saying we didn't over pay for him. that's a given. let's hope bam bam can straighten him out...
