I was surprised to see the anti-Dye sentiment that is out there. Maybe he's no whiz in LF (can't be much worse than Lewis), but the guy can hit, and it seems that his injury problems are behind him.

LaRoche would be a good pickup, but his bat would not be as effective at ATT as Dye's right-handed bat would be.
