He has had some really good years. With a contract like this he'll be trying to prove himself, and we don't lose anything by it.

I haven't seen him play, so I don't have a feeling about his game or what he's like to do here. That's the thing about stats. You just can't tell from the numbers. I try not to form a strong opinion about a guy unless I've seen him at least a few times.

The thing about the blog entry - yes, it mentions he is coming off a down year. But it gives no info as to why he had the down year. Was he injured? Was it a numbers thing? I'm curious about that. But I'm on a deadline today so I'll have to not give into temptation and spend/wast a lot of time trying to find out. He has had some terrific years. So maybe he can bounce back. You can't beat him at that contract.
