If the first two guys get out, basically the 3rd hitter is a waste...nobody on and two outs....the third hitter should be a high avg hitter and good situational hitter so the 4th and 5th guys can drive them in.....and if say Huff gets up with 2 outs and nobody on, I would rather waste his at bat in that situation then Pablo....and Huff can also hit for power so it he hits a double in that Situation, then we have Pablo with a man on.....if not....if he gets out....Pablo leads off....it basically is a win win batting 4th (atleast to begin the game)...you either lead off, or hit with men on base....(unless someone hits an HR)
