essentially this offseason has been about patching some holes without screwing themselves long term - which i am fine with. but i also thought they had turned the corner on Posey v. Bengie and their actual contribution to run production.

i guess i'm still not totally convinced that they moved on from things that have gotten them into trouble in the past (i.e thinking that HR & RBI are the critical measures of offensive performance, relying on highly subjective qualities like "pitch calling" or being a "gamer") when evaluating talent.
