Mychael Urban of CSNBayArea.com reports that the Giants have agreed to terms on a minor league contract with right-hander Todd Wellemeyer.

The deal includes a non-roster invitation to spring training. The 31-year-old stuggled with shoulder problems last season.

In 2008 Wellemeyer pitched in 191.6 innings with a 13-9 W-L, 3.71-era, 1.25-whip

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow, what a Ride!"
