Fielder is only 26, and he plays a position that is not too hard on the body....yes, he is fat, but he has always been fat, and supposedly the guy takes care of his body and eats right....Fielder is a superstar and he doesn't have the question marks that Rowand had....that was a bad contract from day 1 because the guy only had one good season....Fielder hits 40 bombs and 100RBI's in his sleep and if we got someone like him on this years team, we will be talking about the World Series....saying that, I understand why it is a tough trade to make (the money he is going to make, his size, Belt's potential, Sanchez)

but, Belt is just that....potential, there are 1000's of players that had great numbers in the minor's that haven't panned out (however, I am very intrigued by him but it is only 1 year)

Sanchez is a solid if not above avg 3rd starter and that is what he is going to be...he's not an ace, but he is a good, pretty reliable pitcher that can crack any rotation.....

Fielder at times is a top 5 hitter in baseball and is a top 3 power guy in the league and he is only 26.....guys like Fielder don't grow on trees....we can only hope and pray Belt is even half of what Fielder is already, and what is Belt, maybe 4 years younger....

Like I have said, the only reason I don't do that trade is because of his weight and the contract he will get, but guys who hit 40 bombs and 120 RBI's will always get paid....when Posey comes up as a free agent, would you pay him the 100M he will command, even though he is a catcher and he may break down faster than most.....isn't that the reason why you won't give Fielder money?

Tough decision, but something Sabean has to really think of if it is brought up
