what I can get. His speed and defense should suffice for the next couple yrs- even if he proves to be more of .250-60 type hitter, I'll consider it a bonus over Rowand. There's definitely the danger that Torres could fall in love with this long(er) version of his swing, but if it keeps Rowand on the bench, I'm all for it. I WOULD like to see Andres lay down a bunt, though, every so often.
