Bowker started off with the job, I agree he had limited chances, but he didn't come through. He is a mediocre defender, so he doesn't add anything else. If Ishikawa had not come through in the clutch, he wouldn't be here. If he keeps getting pinch hits, he has a career. Bowker hasn't shown anything yet.
