The emergence of Torres and Posey, the trading of Benji, and the additions of Huff and Burrell allowed us to put guys like Rowand, Ishi, Nate and Renteria on the bench (or start them in favorable match-ups.

I like our flexibility at INF/OF positions and the guys, to their credit, have adjusted to, if not embraced their new roles.

Granted, it's an expensive bench, but the production has been beyond clutch. I think it changes opposing managers' approaches to changing pitchers, too. We have good counter moves now.
