I thought it offered an unbiased opinion to some fans who wondered why the Giants couldn't pick up a bat, and the writer offered an opinion that they didn't want to trade Sanchez or Madbum which is understandable. Its not easy to make a big trade for a bat.

I was happy that the Giants addressed their biggest need a lefthanded reliever and bullpen help. I'm still hoping they can acquire another bullpen piece,similar to a Roberto Hernandez, whom they acquired a few years ago on another deadline deal. I think its ridiculous that writers called the Giants a loser at the deadline. They will pick up more pieces this month.
