Which is unlikely, especially with the way the team is hitting lately and Burrell coming on, the fact that hes a FA and will want to get paid, etc.
Dunno why people would be so opposed to getting Jose Guillen for nothing though. He may be a headcase but hes a solid bat that we could get for no-value prospects or completely free (I'm assuming KC wanted badly to dump him but there were no takers at the trade deadline so its not too much of a stretch to think he makes it to us or clears wavers). Doubt he'll be ruffling feathers or dogging it too much given that hes in a contract year. I'm less into getting him now with Burrell getting hot lately and perhaps cementing himself in LF and raking but you never know how fleeting that will be.
