I doubt we see Belt in September. He's been getting some extra OF time lately, mostly in LF, but it's been debatable whether they've done this due to a shortage of outfielders or because they are craving versatility (hence, more playing time) with the big club. He even played RF last night, went 3 for 5.

He has a plus arm (was a pitcher), is a potential plus fielder at 1B, and as was mentioned shows a lot more patience then his peers at the plate. I've been following him since draft day, and the little adjustments they made to shorten up his swing made so much difference. I think he's real, at least as "real as Neal", but I think his probably call-up doesn't happen until next year.

The last thing you'd want to do is bring a kid like this up too early just to sit on the bench and watch when he could be developing and taking his hacks instead. He has too many blocker in LF and 1B no doubt.
