Just spitballing here...I linked an article about Brandon Webb looking to rehab in AZ thru the month in hopes of getting some innings in Sept as a reliever. Can you imagine that dude as one of our set-up guys to go along w/ Romo, Ray, Affeldt, etc? When he's healthy he throws a ton of strikes and his sinker/splitter would play perfect out of the bullpen. Clearly unrealistic, I realize this, but I wonder how serious AZ is about dumping salary?

Along w/ LaRoche, they could save a ton of money by getting some deals done this month and if a team were willing to eat the money owed on BOTH LaRoche (need to figure out his trade kicker option) and Webb...AZ might view the salary dump itself as compensation vs acquiring bona-fide prospects. Completely unlikely, but who knows?
