The offense is still inconsistent. Albeit they had a monster July but IMO that was an aberration. The staff is set and it appears that there are maybe two impact bats still on the market in Fielder and Beltran. I'd take either. Although, Fielder would probably cost the G's Cain, no deal.

Whereas Beltran is a salary dump and may cost the G's $10-15M or more btw now and the end of '11, assuming NY picks up about 50%. Good news is that he may only cost reliever types, i.e Joaquin or maybe Runzler plus a low level position player.. That's a deal I'd be seriously looking at w/ Renteria coming off the books.. Beltran has put up huge stats every yr until last yr and this, so he obviously comes with some risk.
