All of a sudden, we've got 7 guys in the lineup who can go longball on you in any at-bat. Our #3 and #5 hitters to start the season are now 7-8. Not to mention, our bench is stupid-deep now with Rowand, Fontenot, Ishikawa, and Schierholtz. Whiteside is our only other RH bench bat, though, besides Rowand. But if Guillen is on the bench and Ishi starts against righties, that's a well-balanced bench with pop... just lacks speed, unfortunately. In September, though, we should have some speed help in the form of Burriss and Velez.
