After reading his post game comments in A Baggerly's game notes, he just doesn't sound confident right now.. Even the good ones have to work through rough spots.

I bummed they lost this game.. Still think the Western division is far from over.. If the Giants stay close into Sept, who knows what can happen.. I've heard Baseball tonight pundits questioning if the Padres young pitching will hold up in September. I've also heard Vin Scully mention that the Padres want to shut down Matt Latos when he reaches 150 innings. They may not be able to do that if the Giants are close..
