also very unlikely IMO..
I like Ross as a two way player and hopefully he regains his 2009 form. He would be more than sufficient if he hit .275, 18-23 hr's, 85 rbi's. Maybe bats 6th or 7th. It's imperative that the G's have speed to patrol AT&T OF, only compounded by G's flyball pitchers.. Add Neal and Belt to the mix--things don't look so bad..
I'd like to see Huff, Burrell and Ross all return. Fontenot is a good little super utility guy, DeRosa, Belt and Neal, round out the bench. That's a pretty deep team with a nice combo of vets and emerging prospects..
Also, as an aside, Lilly would make for a nice signing to add depth to the rotation. Would obviously all depend on his price tag though.. Others that could probably be had for less to provide insurance: Rich Harden, Jeff Francis??, or Jorge De La Rosa all might not be tendered..

Crawford unlikely to sign w/ SF unless the G's plan to massively over spend..
